  1. John McKellar Says:

Sir Jim Rose had many interesting and worthwhile things to say about the new liberating primary curriculum. I’d like to focus on his mention of drama which incorporates speaking and listening, problem-solving, creative thinking, collaboration and other life skills. It concerns me that the word ” drama ” is used without definition inmuch the same way that it was interpreted as role-play in the primary strategy. OK, so what do we understand drama in the primary curriculum to mean? How many of us feel confident in teaching educational or process drama with a class of 25+? What in-service is there for us to develop skills? What would colleagues like to happen with regards to this learning?
